"Intruiging, with gothic bass and low-rent drum machine thuds" Record Collector

1996 - 1997 Stray Dog City
A gigging / studio duo of Martian T Jamboy on voice and guitar, Agent Dave on bass and studio production. Very manic, atmospheric, psychadelic. Got into making the guitar sound very un-guitary. Played live in some truelly scary hard-rock venues - confused a lot of people by using drum machines and a lot of home-made random tape machines etc. Had a bloody great time! Disband due to a massive amount of material and nowhere to play it.

One ep 'suitcase cinema'
2 X post-humurous live albums + 1 'best of' due for release on TAR later this year.

1997 - 1998 Odeama
A hit and run live electronic band = me on voice and bass, mr noiZe on mental guitars, brother lee on drums/midi/percussion.
End the year playing live headlining Unscene Festival In Dundee. One final gig in Birmingham as a final 4uck you very much to the would-be Birmingham scene.

First single Spy Versus Spy.
Disband 1998 due to getting ripped off and paranoia.

1998 One off gig as Cypher Cypher - just a duo of me and Gilbert on guitar - a lo-fi recording of three tunes set to CD available from escapeart.org

1998 - 2001 MeMePleX Prime
martian = voice, bass, guitars. Gilbert on guitar, ade on live bass and electronics. Working on music with the intention of becoming a full-time gigging live/electronics band.

releases on Scholtz Vitrine and TAR in 2002. Yay!
