still trying to remember half of them.

The very first gig I think was the only time we really felt comfortable. There were no compromises involved - it was organized by Richard Bloodbath and we were given plenty of time to set up and get in the mood. But it was over too soon and we wanted more more more. There's a recording of it somewhere in the lab archives [due for release later this year as a double CD via TAR]. Pretty adventurous for a rock venue. They refused to have any of us back though. We we re pretty cocky considering.

Troubled memories of standing rigid-fuming at a disastorous gig for zoot 'we only want shit mod bands' promotions where half of our kit wasn't working. They gave us fifteen minutes. I think I was just stood there not playing a note while Ade ploughed through the set on bass and beats - probably didn't sound bad at all but I was still too pissed off to enjoy it. Ade quite rightly promised to break my face if I ever did it again. Never heard from zoot again - thank god. Apparently they're still into the whole ModBritPoP thing but I bet they've gone all 'new acoustic' hahaha...

last gig Ithink was with avrocar and magnetic north pole. The sound guy was a complete cock, seemingly because we had all set up without him [we never used amps, just straight into ade's mixer which probably cheesed the guy off too].
